As many of you know I have gotten back into my losing 90 lbs journey and I’m not going to lie, so far it’s been pretty hard. From finding the right things to eat and from holding myself back from the bad things to eat. Gulp! Well... I'm on this post baby weight loss journey AGAIN for the 4th time! 😩 Looking at my swollen ankles and the number on this scale literally scares me 😳 This is the biggest Ive been post baby but because this is my 4th time, I know getting back to pre baby weight is possible!! Well, here I am. I’m trying to lose weight for the 70th time in my life. I’ve been on a series of health kicks since I was a kid. As a child I was chubby, which turned into a chunky adolescent and a fat adult. I’ve lost weight before but I’ve never managed to keep it off because I lost the routine after I lost the weight. My sister is currently on Keto and lost 28 pounds!!! To say I am proud of her is an understatement! I’m amazed and motivated and inspired. She’s a mom, a wife and has a successful career and yet she still found time to make herself and her health a priority. I figured it was time I do the same. So after much poking and convincing I’ve decided to try Keto. I have PCOS, high blood pressure and am a pre-diabetic. Everything I’ve read says that this lifestyle change will help me with all of this. My sister is supporting me and coaching me through this, but I would love any extra support and encouragement along the way. If you have a great recipe or suggestion I am all ears. I’m getting married this August and we would like to start trying for a family immediately after that. I’d like to know I am healthy and in a safe place to have and carry a baby. Mommy of 2. I’ve had low self esteem for a long time, on top of anxiety and depression issues. I have always had issues with my weight. Invested in bogus quick fixes because I was afraid of being in a gym, of being around people, or looking dumb. Finally, I had enough. I invested in my health, learning more about fitness, and what worked for ME. I wanted something permanent, and finally? I stepped out of my comfort zone and fell in love with working out. My mental state completely transformed as well as my physical state. I finally learned to love myself, to take care of myself, and to believe that a healthy me is truly worth it!
Well.. I tested this morning and I'm officially knocked out of ketosis

How do you lose weight while eating dirty keto? I haven't weighed or measured myself but I can definitely feel the carb bloat for real today!
I still have a good amount of my #dirtyketotreats left that I'm not going to let go to waste.
I'm just not sure if I'm going to just not give af for a short amount of time and just eat as I please until they're gone or actually fight to get back into ketosis 🤷🏼♀️ I've posted pictures of my treats and how they don't fit #strictketo some people argue about ingredients such as corn fiber and vegetable glycerin but if you do research you'll find they're not 100% backed by strick keto.
The frozen waffles are a grade C for keto according to carb manager so those weren't labeled as keto. I was just craving waffles lol
HEALTHY vs HEALTHY😬😬 (read this caption!)
Let me just say that I am a BIG FAN of eating HEALTHY FOOD (of course😂). However, trying to reach any fitness goal (fat loss/muscle gain) by simple “eating healthy” can be a frustrating journey.. 😩
10 years ago I didn’t know a single thing about calories or macronutrients. Zero. So when I tried to go on a diet, and tried to lose some weight, I would just start “eating healthy”. So I would cut out (what I thought was) unhealthy foods like bread, candy, chocolate etc. And only eat foods labeled as “healthy” (😭)
Guess what? It didn’t work. I didn’t lose any weight. So it was basically what I call a lose-lose situation (opposite of win-win🤪). Because I didn’t get to eat the foods I enjoyed (🍕🍫) and it didn’t even make me lose weight
Fast forward a few years and I started learning about calories and macros. And the fact that I could fit some chocolate or some ice-cream into my otherwise healthy diet and still lose weight.🤯🤯 because total caloric intake IS the number 1 thing that controls weight-management (Not if the food is “healthy” or “unhealthy”)
So to wrap up this reaaaally long caption (sorry) I want to say that HEALTH matters a lot. But when it comes to losing weight, there has to be an understanding of calories. Because as you can see in the picture there can be a big difference of calories in two foods even though they’re both “healthy” !!

If you’ve been watching my stories, you know I’ve been dealing with the most intense bloating issues 😓 TBH it’s nothing new. I have one of the worst digestive systems I think on planet Earth LMFAO, but as of late I’ve been SOOO fed up with it and really started to take the issues into my own hands. And, I’m happy to announce, ITS WORKING!! Slowly, but definitely
So what is it I’ve done differently?
1️⃣Taking 5g @naturalvitalityofficial magnesium supplement in drink for before bed. Many of us have low magnesium levels that can affect our digestive health as well as our mood and anxiety
2️⃣Drinking at least a gallon of water a day
3️⃣Taking @alaninutrition digestion pills 2-3 times a day after meals
4️⃣Drinking @gaiaherbs gas & bloating tea after meals (once a day usually but more of I can)
5️⃣Only just started but taking a tbsp of apple cider vinegar in the mornings with lemon and water
Years of growing and learning, and I am still in the process. If younger me at nearly 300 lbs. could lose 50 pounds three times, then I can lose another 50 lbs. this year. I believe in myself ✨ 💕
