Still got a few things I need to check off my checklist. Feeling ok otherwise. A tad under done maybe, thankfully not injured. Volume has been consistent for the most part. I have readjusted my expectations and trying not to be my own harshest critic. Still have the odd bad day head space wise, but thankfully I can recognise the symptoms and can accept that it is just that, a bad day.

You light up when you are where you belong!
You light up when you do what you are meant to do...while also taking care of your soul! ✨💗✨
Today, I had a tough and challenging 1.5 mile Ocean Swim that was fun one way and f’in hard Back the other. Then ran, literally, down the beach to get to my hotel room and coach the Inspirator Academy about being grounded. Followed with Coaching & Training the Inspirator Retreat Inaugural Certification Team with @mariannezgresham , that warmed my heart in the most massive way possible. ✨💗✨
Because my soul grows as I can continue and step in to shine in doing ...what I am meant to do. To empower and inspire other women (and their families) to live as their own Inspirators! Regardless of being at the mountains, the beach, the city or a small town. ✨💗✨
After the sessions, Marriane and I were both on a high to step in and have the most incredible time!!! We soaked in the energy and I ran to the beach to play and delight in the sun,sea and surf! ✨💗✨
Friends I ask you....how are you living life? How are you stepping in to goal up every single day to live your own Dream Life, doing what you l💗ve and living how you desire? How are you owning your actions in stepping in to create the dream life you desire, feeling strong and empowered along the way?!? My middle daughter Emerson created the word “Inspirator” 6 years ago. An Inspirator means an inspiration and motivator in ONE.
And for me, that is my mission.
You are all YOUR OWN Inspirators!!! ✨💗✨

Life is full of surprises!😱 BrightSight Group just offered me a contact to act as my exclusive representative for speaking engagements on a worldwide basis! I hope that by sharing my crazy story, I can help others begin their own journey - whatever that journey may be! So many blessing! 😊
Before Triathlons there were Marathons. A fitting #throwbackthursday this week 2013 @londonmarathon my second time round London made even more special representing @stpeterstjameshospice where my Dad spent his last days being looked after wonderfully. 3:23 on the day and I’ve only managed to better that once since. Wishing all the runners this year the best of luck!
Remember “don’t be an idiot in the first half, and don’t be a pussy in the second”
If you’re running on Sunday hit me up with your race number in the comments 👇🏼👇🏼
👀 repping @asicseurope well before @asicsfrontrunner came on the scene too!
P.S. Marathons Hurt 😂
Work, work, work...
Right now I’ve a lot of stuff to do besides training 😅 So there’s even no time for updating my instagram and tell you guys about my training... But here’s a short wrap up of the last three days 😇
On Tuesday we still had really good weather BUT heavy winds with gusts of 40km/h and more which made the ride quite uncomfortable sometimes. It was a set with a long warm-up 2x 20min effort and a short cool-down. I had quite a few technical issues around my bike with the power meter, HR-Sensor, Cadence and so on... And I was so frustrated that I rode the last interval longer and harder to make some KOMs @strava with the tail wind 😂
The afternoon only had a run waiting for me which I first wanted to skip but then decided to do it to finally test if the pain in my calf returns or not - and luckily til today it didn’t 😇
Yesterday I had a longer swim set with 1200m Warm-Up and 8x 400m Ramp-Down from 6:45 to 6:25. After the swim a coach takled to me in the shower and said that I must have been a swimmer as a child because it looked to good what I was doing - but when I told him that I just learned a proper freestyle @bonduniversity in 2016 he couldn’t believe it 😂
Plus yesterday was the day I finally picked up my new family member 😍 My @trekbikes Madone in the super sexy colour 😋

It's RACE WEEK here in The Woodlands for IRONMAN Texas!
With that lets talk about mantras and our thoughts for when things get tough and we head to a "dark spot". We say a lot to ourselves when pain starts to creep in and the going get's tough either during training or on race day. The key is to keep those thoughts positive and to use it as fire to push yourself just a little but further then you thought possible!
Here are some of my go to mantras:
🌟It's only one more mile to the next aid station, you can do ANYTHING for a mile!
🌟You are strong, you are capable, you can do this!
🌟You have hurt worse than this before!
🌟I feel no pain, there is no pain, keep going!
🌟You have to be stronger then the rest!
We are all different so find something that works for you and lights that fire! Make it positive and then play it on repeat in your mind so nothing else can creep in.
4km po 4:00min/km😸
3km po 3:49min/km👊
2km po 3:39min/km💪
1km po 3:31min/km🔥
Uffff co to było za szaleństwo -interwały z narastającą prędkością 😂
Cały dzień się zbierałem żeby go wykonać...
Post 2km river swim 🏊🏻♂️ 🏊🏻♀️ & feeling blissful watching my man chatting away.
He has been training so hard for his 1st #ironman race (coming up next week!!) & I am so completely inspired by his determination & dedication to this big goal of his.
I can’t wait to watch him achieve his dream!! It’s taper time now, slowing down a little while we pack all the essentials for the trip up to the race. Exciting stuff!! ✨💛

It is the last Wednesday of April already. Today I’m standing in front of Science world. Me as a scientist and engineer what to ask do you know what are the forces acting in cycling? There are three forces acting on the rider and bicycle. Do you know them?————————————————————————- • Distance 42 km • Elevation 324 m 😀🤷🏻♀️☀️😄

People always ask me why do I go that far from where I live to ride with United Velo. There is few reasons that I want to point. But before that I want to say. In 2016 when I first started riding I had some bad experience riding with people who was joking about my accent or about my biking skills. I went for a ride with that group only few times and never go back to them. Then I focused on my biking skills. On the next year I joined another group. They were really nice, but lacking some organizing skills. And last year in the spring of 2108 I joined United Velo I felt that those are the people that I want to ride with. And as you see I still ride with them. Here are my reasons why I drive 40 km to go for at least 70 km ride with the club. First because they believe riding together is better than riding alone. Another reason is that I never get dropped off. Rides are always well organized. We always know where we go, we always ride in a great pace line. If someone have mechanical issue or flat we all stop. When climbing always regrouping at the top of the hill. Last but not least they make me smile!
Riding with people who respect other people is important. ————————————————————————-
Today we were 50 people on the ride + 18 other who went racing. Total of 68 active United Velo members. How many clubs can say that?
What is your experience riding in a group?

On a raining day like today I do exercise, but not on Zwift 🤷🏻♀️Beside riding a bike I do other exercises. In fact the resistance training on the upper body helps me to improve my cycling, strengthen my back and core as well.
Cyclists aren’t known for their Herculean physiques, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t hit the gym a few times a week to knock out some strength training exercises. While most cycling exercises - squats, deadlifts, presses - focus on building strength below the waist, arms go criminally ignored.
We don’t have to forfeit toned arms to tackle Alpe d’Huez. In fact, if we aren’t racing any Grand Tours this year, a little strength training works in our favor.
Do we need to look like a Hollywood action star? Absolutely not. But let’s not look like undercooked pasta, either.

I learned that courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave person is not the one who does not feel afraid, but the one who conquers that fear.
Today I finally had courage to go to the place where I almost lost my life in October 2017. I had no intention to go fast there, but it’s happened that I was faster than before.
Remember: Never let the fear of striking out get in your way!!! Have a fantastic week ahead.

SundaY Scenic Rush - Sea to Sky exotic cycling experience with my “Ferarri”
Luxury, exotic cars are a pleasure to drive for all those who love being behind the wheel. But I will say it is way more a pleasure to ride a bicycle on the Sea to Sky. Feeling your heart beat race alongside your own “horse” power, the rush of the speed pumping your blood faster and raising your adrenaline levels, is a passion and a pleasure for experienced riders. And when it comes to riding the “Ferrari” on two wheels - a good carbon bike, or just a road bike, you feel nothing less but a thrilling sensation of satisfaction and ultimate delight. ————————————————————————-
Would you add something to my thoughts too. What is your feeling/experience of riding on the road?

People sometimes are asking me how I’m able to work and at the same time to spend so much time riding a bike or do other activities. The answer is really simple. Time Management!
There are lots of different ways to tackle the issue of time management: we can download apps, adjust our sleep time, create lists, etc. But if we don’t fully understand why it’s important for us to better manage our time, those apps and lists aren’t going to help us. If we don’t have the motivation to use them, we won’t.
We have to first look at the big picture. Get a handle on why managing our time effectively is important, and what we stand to gain from it.
We all can accomplish more with less effort. When we learn to take control of our time, we improve our ability to focus. And with increased focus comes enhanced efficiency, because we don’t lose momentum. We’ll start to breeze through tasks more quickly (the workday will also seem to fly by).
Today I ride 8.5 km to safe time of staying in the traffic, and I also enjoyed the time on the bike. Now I’m ready to look into the weekend without worry about work. Wishing you a fantastic weekend. Rain or shine. ————————————————————————-
I know I said I'd be shirtless until winter now that it's warm out, but I'm in Canada 🇨🇦 and it's cold...and the neighbours complained. Mid-week race efforts kinda days during the week now, two hours on the bike trying to finishing with around a 190-200 watts average then on to a 6k run at 4:40/k pace. The hardest part of this workout was trying to get three heart rate monitors to all record data to determine the accuracy of each for an upcoming video. Any bets on which is most accurate: Wahoo Tickr chest strap, Wahoo Tickr Fit, or Garmin Wrist HR on the 935? #swimbikerun#triathlete#fitness#run#workout#running
