Instead of just being a spectator, be a participant in this phenomenon called the universe. You should be a participant, or agent of change in society, rather than just watching television every day and looking at what is happening. ~Sri Sri
Вместо просто да бъдеш зрител, бъди участник в това явление, наречено вселена. Бъди участник или действаща сила на промяната в обществото, а не просто гледащ телевизия всеки ден и да наблюдаваш какво се случва.

#tbt to what was mentally the hardest race I've ever run and the only race where I was truly on the verge of quitting. It was so humid. I had so much chafing from my hydration vest. I was practically in tears and texting my boyfriend that I wanted to quit when I was at mile 8 or 9 (which was actually mile 13 or 14, since it was three races back-to-back-to-back). I finished with my slowest time ever. These pictures show the difference: first picture is the finish of the 5K, the last is the finish of the half. I was miserable by that time. It's safe to say that August racing is not my jam

😂 I got lost...& look what I stumbled across 😀
Planning to come here tmrw- it’s been a while since I’ve “trained”, most my running is with my beginners
Humidity can’t keep us down! 6 muggy miles with some great ladies this am! I signed up for my second marathon yesterday, so it looks like I’ve caught the bug! It’s not until December, but I’m ready to keep my miles up until training really sets in!
Typical Thursday double today. Strength session in the morning, swim squad in the evening.
I’ve had a couple of comments recently from different people telling me I look strong, and powerful. Even tonight, I decided to do an extra 400m swim before squad started and one of the people I train with said I was looking powerful in the water.
I still feel a bit apprehensive about running because every niggle or slight bit of pain, instantly makes me think that something is wrong. I know that this isn’t the case, and after catching up with the Chiro yesterday I still have a bit of work to do, but I’m getting there.
Another great cool evening as we had our Yasso’s session with @_coachclaire at Intervals tonight. Legs still a bit stiff from Sunday so managed 8 x 800m before calling it a day. Good to see @sharonrosieb and her hubby there tonight as well 👍
With the Edinburgh Marathon coming up, we're throwing back to working with Peigi last year - Peigi took up running aged 66 and decided to go in at the deep end and sign up for the Edinburgh Marathon!
After some months of training and building strength and endurance she completed the marathon in a little over 6 hours - amazing effort 🏃♀️💪
Started the day at the gym with strength training on the schedule. I have realized that I need to take a little rest with the running as my right knee has started to complain. So two weeks ahead, there will be alternative training. But variation is a good thing they say. 🙄 #icaniwill#jagspringer#runninggirl#runnersneedstrength#runnersofinsta#löpningsglädje#träningsglädje
Looks like Thursdays are becoming a regular #morningrun day for me, too. Fantastic weather here today and I was able to run in my short running gear for the first time this year.
I took it easy, stopped to watch some deer and birds of prey and played with the dog. The only downside: I didn't notice that my runtastic-app had stopped working until I was 2km into my run...
Have a great day everyone!
4 easy miles at 5am & I am loving these bright mornings, I've spent the majority of training doing laps around the village with a head torch tied to my wrist, so getting out & running the countryside is awesome... Threw in a photo of my last running event too... why not 😋 .
