The sun is out and it’s 22°C! I don’t care how exhausted I am after 3 straight weeks of work insanity and only 4 hours of sleep last night... a run had to happen. Plus... I survived and now get to actually have complete days off and proper sleep so that called for a celebratory run 😭🙏🙏🙏. I tried to keep things quick-ish today because I knew my energy stores (or lack thereof) wouldn’t last long. So 3 miles at 9:10. And that... didn’t necessarily feel fast (too tired for anything to have felt fast) but it sure as hell felt like an effort. About 20min in I saw that flashing light on the dashboard saying I was straight up pull-up-on-the-side-of-the-road-outta-gas. But I pushed through to finish the run and I’m glad I did. It felt so freaking good to be out running in the sunshine ☀️.

#tbt to the last days of summer 2018. My parents opened there pool this week. The girls have their fingers crossed for warm weather this weekend. And so do I. I've been battling plantar fasciitis in my right foot. And it has me a bit bummed out. A day by the poop after a very slow run is just what I need!
I’ve truly dreamt about running the Boston Marathon for years but never thought I’d be good enough to compete with the best. Not only was I lucky enough to qualify— I was able to run with my sister and best friend! Boston was one of the most humbling yet incredible experiences I’ve ever been apart of. Thank you to everyone who has reached out and supported me throughout this journey! I feel so lucky to be surrounded by the best co-workers, friends, and family! Boston, I’ll be back! ✨🦄
Für das Laufen, ist ein Ganzkörpertraining äußerst wichtig. Ich bin der Meinung, dass ein ausgewogenes Training viel effizienter ist. Was nützt es mir, wenn der Oberkörper, beim Laufen, schlapp macht. Bei dieser Übung wird nicht nur die Kraft trainiert, sondern auch gleichzeitig die Koordination.
Ich habe mich schon häufiger, mit anderen Läufern, unterhalten und diese klagten über Rückenschmerzen oder keine Kraft in den Armen. Diese Athleten legen Wert auf andere Dinge und konnten meine Trainingsmethoden nicht verstehen.
Klar, ich bin nicht der klassische Läufer und werde niemals die 10km in 30 Minuten laufen. Diese Zeiten sind, aufgrund meiner Größe und des dazugehörigen Gewichtes, einfach unrealistisch. Aus diesem Grunde, würde trotzdem mein Training nicht ändern.
Ich habe 12 Jahre lang aktiv, in der Halle und Sand im Sand, Volleyball gespielt und konnte mit diesen Training diverse Erfolge feiern.
10 mile run to celebrate 10 years of marriage! We could have done an easy route today, but instead we chose to hit up what we call our Ohio Heartbreak Hill. He said let’s do it once, but I said let’s do it twice, so we compromised and did it twice 🤣💁🏼
This guy can be a real pain in my ass. We push each other every day to be the best versions of ourselves and that allows us to accomplish anything we put our minds to and I wouldn’t want it any other way. .
Five years ago we started the tradition of running a mile to celebrate every year of marriage. To us, marriage is a lot like running. It takes a lot of hard work and determination. Some days it’s easy and other days it’s hard as hell, but at the end of the day it’s all worth it. .

One of those runs I could have gone forever with. When I started I considered myself lucky to get out the door. A super early flight means I’ve been up since 2:30am and working out was the last thing I wanted to do. But I have a really nice move circle streak going that I didn’t want to break so I told myself I had to run 2. Well 2 turned to 3 which turned to a 5k 🤷🏻♀️. I think this is actually a pr which is pretty sweet all things considered. Feels good to know I still have some decent run stamina and I can run fast and still feel good 😊 #premarathontraining#mcm#runner#running#runhappy#negativesplit

Bom dia, mais uma selfie em ação, hoje foram mais 10km em ritmo tranquilo como parte da recuperação pós prova, senti as pernas bem mais soltas só depois de meia hora de corrida. O clima está ajudando bastante, nem muito frio e com sol pra deixar o percurso mais bonito !
