Dorrigo National Park rainforest walk & Crystal Shower Falls - I was so not prepared for the steep inclines and just a whole lotta walking, on top of keeping an eye out for snakes along the way. But hey, waterfalls! 😁
Disclaimer: I received these products free from Influenster for testing & review purposes. These products promise to show visible results, which initially tells me that it’s more so hydrating and nourishing than anti-aging. But it is possible that this line can produce both visible results and have anti-aging properties that work over time.
Over the past year or so, I’ve noticed that the wrinkles on my face have become deeper and more prominent, especially on my forehead and under my eyes. When used as directed, I notice my lines and wrinkles aren’t very visible. But on days where I don’t use it, they are still there, but much less prominent than before.
I’m still not sure if I buy into the anti-aging claims, since the package emphasizes that it will “visibly” reduce/improve signs of aging. It could be from being well nourished and well hydrated. But, I suppose it is possible that this formulation could work overtime. I also don’t notice as many break outs. Which I feel can be attributed to the exfoliating peel pads since they contain salicylic acid. I love that the serum is quickly absorbed into the skin. Also, it comes in a pump, so oxidation should not be a major concern.
While this line is incredible pricey, I’d say it’s definitely worth the investment. I could definitely see myself purchasing some of the items from this line. To be frank, I’d probably just stick to the serum and/or the exfoliating peel pads.
Personally, I don’t care for the moisturizer. It seems like it just sits on top of the skin and it feels tacky. It doesn’t dry down or absorb well, and I’m not sure if that’s entirely intentional or not. If anything, it feels more like a barrier for your skin to lock the serum in. It also may be what gives my wrinkles/lines a blurred appearance, like a filter or blurring primer. I can’t speak intelligently on the moisturizer’s anti-aging benefits, but if you’re looking to just ease yourself into anti-aging skin care, it could potentially be a good place to start. But for me, I don’t see myself purchasing it. I hope this helps!
