This morning I knew I wanted to get out and do a good walk. I then had the mad idea of running😳 but as I have never run before I decided to try couch-5k. It was HARD. I got half way and wanted to give up. Especially when it said 2 more runs to go! But I did it and ran for 8 minutes in total. Got so out of breath, my throat hurt as I probably inhaled too much air. Not feeling keen over doing it again😂 got in 8.2k steps though by mid day so I’m pleased about that. Absolutely shattered now😴
1st stop on the road to Chicago! 🏃🏻♀️Best part- training with these awesome peeps! Thanks to my cheering section at the finish line!

First ever half marathon done! ✔🏅🏃♀️🤙
I beat the goal of 15min pacing and finished 3:13. I went into this race just wanting to get it over with. I essentially had only 4 weeks to train because of PT and rehab. Now I can focus on rehabbing my ITB, hip, knees and shin, slap tear and bursitis. Then onto strengthening and heart rate training. I will redeem myself at the next half marathon. #halfmarathon #donzyruns

Do the thing you love the most, throw in a hill for more fun, start at 85 degrees, finish at 95 degrees, in the beautiful Florida sun. Training is fun.

I’ve been chasing a 2:30 half marathon PR since I started long distance running.🏃🏻♀️ I know I can do it, but the conditions need to be right. My previous PR was 2:40:21.
Today’s #bostonsruntoremember was a great race, but hot af. 🌞 That’s usually the kiss of death for PRs for me, but I felt good out there except for miles 9 & 10. 🤷🏻♀️ Mileage is wonky because of the tall buildings in the city, so I’m not declaring full victory yet, but one way or the other - today I PRed the shit out of 13.1 miles. 👊🏻💪🏻
And it’s all the sweeter because I raced with @lazymarathoner, @roberts_shari, @melissa.magnuson.7, @melissacutroni, & @ilahcibis. 🖤🙌🐝

I randomly woke up this morning and felt this need to go for a run 😂 weird because I normally HATE running. But I wanted the fresh air and to get some sweat out. I almost made it a mile and it felt so good!!! I am loving this sunny weather and hope to continue to try and get a run or hike in every weekend ! Active rest days are THE BEST!⠀

“Never tell others to do something that you yourself are not willing to endure... and then some.” I have always tried to live by that, but last week I was admittedly lazy. That’s not acceptable so I quit making excuses and got after it. Knocked out the Plyo Pyramid workout from morning camps. It was tough, it was hot, and I was tired... but it was FUN. Okay guys here it is! 12-15-18 to 2-25-19... 17lb difference.Never in a million years could i have seen myself posting this picture, and I know there will be some of you who judge it , But I am so so proud of what I’ve achieved . The picture on the left makes me SICK. But if there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that LIFE HAPPENS . It gets stressful , and we let our bodies go. Biggest regret of my life . But in the process of this all I have learned so much and grown so much physically and mentally. Its a mental game. I have learned balance and that was key. My life is changed and I am NOT looking back. Big things in store for my fitness. I decided to become a Powerlifter. Judge all you want, but for me it’s a great achievement . Learning what you’re body can do is a crazy thing. It takes discipline, self worth, and time to become better . I am starting on a new goal, a new journey to get healthy beginning today, this is my story of my first full 5k. #sponsored I have partnered up with @asics and their new @runkeeper GO! I’ve set a time limit goal for how fast I want to be able to run it by the end of the program and I am determined to reach it. I am nervous because I HATE running. I’m so bottom heavy that I feel like I’m dying when I run 😂 BUT, I have my new #asics and a daily plan to build up my endurance, and it’s a plan I can make work because it’s literally less than 30 minutes of my entire day.
