Lately, I have been repeating a version of the phrase, "I can't." Sometimes it's "I just can't" other times it's "I can't do it." In any case it's time to rewrite the narrative. Have you ever seen that video where someone talks negatively to their plant? If not, you should look it up. Study shows a major difference in how plants grow if they are showered with positivity or bullied. It made me think about how just the repetition of how "I can't" was affecting my body and mind. Time to rewrite the narrative and say I CAN!
I had the opportunity to take a mini-workshop with @aminaaltai, a holistic business and mindset coach on Monday afternoon. She introduced the idea of 'limiting beliefs' which is basically a story we tell ourselves that blocks us from moving forward or achieving a goal. We looked at areas in our business and then gave a ranking of satisfaction in those areas. We then selected the area with the lowest score and identified the limiting belief. What are the stories we have been telling ourselves and how do they continue to sabotage? Where should we be rewriting the narrative?
I encourage you to look at your own life - personal, business, it doesn't matter. Where are you bullying yourself? What's holding you back? Where can you say "I Can?" I am going to keep the reflection going with my weekly lists. Care to join me? Head on over to the blog. Link is in my profile above. Let's go!
I’m still able to enjoy #tacotuesdays on @WW! Jenny O Extra lean ground turkey meat (0), Mission whole wheat tortilla (4), 1 tsp of thousand island (2), pico de Gallo (0), Lawry’s taco seasoning (0). All of this for 6 points! I wanted more taco meat, so I had seconds. I’m allowed to have 23 points a day for weight loss of 1-2 lbs a week according to my height and weight. I’m 5’5, currently 205. When I started at 233, my allotted points were 26 a day, & they decreased as I lost weight. Shoutout to my sis @chilla7 who made us this amazing dinner! #tacotuesdays#wwfreestylerecipes#holdingmyselfaccountable#eatwhatyoulove#tastesbetterthanitlooks#grateful

Found this container in @colessupermarkets yesterday. This container is from Sistema and is their Salad Max container. I LOVE this as I can prep all my snacks and lunch for the day into the one container which means...NO EXCUSES TO EAT BAD! 🙌🏼 In the top I put my snacks and in the bottom bowl I packed my lunch, best of all it even comes with a fork and knife that click in! So good!
I really struggled yesterday. I did really well all day and then ate everything at night. Today has been a lot better so far and I was quite suprised at the amount I ate for 1500 calories. Plus I still have plenty of calories for yogurt and rice cakes later.
I have been a vegetarian for over 5 months now with not a single slip up. I originally went into this to see if I could even do it, and I wanted to see what it did for me. It’s been that, and than soooo much more. I don’t ever see myself going back. The things I have learned during this process has been nothing short of mind blowing. For a while now I have mad the conscious decision to better my life. And I’ve been FAILING!! Not today, not anymore. Today’s the day I better myself, for me, my longevity, and my life. It’s time to buckle down and adult better. (Which I always say is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, anyone else with me??) Made a shake this morning and I feel great ❤️Officially TRYing To be vegan.
Shake made with : @arbonne chocolate protein powder @arbonne vanilla protein powder @arbonne digestion plus
Also just this morning I’ve incorporated atleast 10 other @arbonne products

This morning we started the day running on empty. Instead of going the keto way, I selected a donut shop for breakfast. I kicked myself for choosing pig in the blankets and donuts. Tonight I made ground beef patties covered with peppers, onions, and cheese. I ate a salad on the side. I did add more tomatoes, cheese, and eggs for the warmth. Though I should've used my grill, I couldn't resist my Food Network skillet. Also, I do have to get better with the times I eat throughout the day. #holdingmyselfaccountable#ketodinner #ketoforbeginners#ketochoices #tomorrowsanewday #tryingtogotheketoway
Grocery shopping done ✅ now onto the most challenging part: Meal Prep 😬

I can’t tell you how big of a NSV this is right here! I haven’t worn jeans in at least 2 1/2 years because I refused to buy a bigger size than a 20. So here I am. Back in my size 20s! I love my tool!!!! 💜💜💜
There is absolutely nothing or no one out there who wants to bring you down; to teach you a lesson, to find your faults.
No one is out to get you. 🤗
In fact the reverse is your truth.
Every single thing brought into your reality is conspiring to bring you your highest, clearest, brightest reflection and experience of who you really are.
In fact, YOU (your “Higher Self" or "innate wisdom” ) sets it all up. 🔮
Breakfast for dinner is probably my favorite because its so easy. 😂 I had the same chili, and a bag of baked lays for lunch. Plus this quest bar as a snack which was also a good flavor.

Idk if y’all have seen my stories but I basically shouted myself out & publicly committed to the program 80 Day Obsession!!!!! It will be the longest workout program to date I will tackle!!
Day 1/80 COMPLETED!! The workouts are longer than the programs I’ve previous completed....today’s was 60 MINUTES!! Ummmm I was dead half way through 😂😂😂😂
Autumn Calabrese 1 Sam 0.... today definitely took me by surprise at just how challenging it was!!! If the other workouts are similar, I know the results are going to be there at the end of the 80 days!!!! Another part of this program is keeping on the Timed Nutrition I’ve fallen in love with from the Ultimate Portion Fix!!
The best part for me today though?!?!?! I did NOT have to modify the moves near as much as I expected to!!! Like what?!?! Hello Confidence booster!!! #sweetsassyfit .
PS....kudos to Mr. C for the perfectly timed photo bomb 😂😂😂 it’s his therapy day in St. Louis so he was home during my workout! Kept me motivated to bust my butt!!
It may not look like a lot to you but it is for me. Prob about 2 inches of loose non stretched fabric.... though the image makes me look skinnier than I am... must be how I was holding myself in order to take the darn photo.... I’m so mad at myself today though. I can deadlift and bench press but squats kick my ass and I don’t even have weight on the bar. It’s like I freeze up and my body goes “I don’t know how to do this”... but I can sissy squat fine... it’s so frustrating! 😡🤯🤬 I keep hearing “it’s just like sitting on the couch” but I’ve been ‘flopping’ into chairs since I messed my knee up in high school football... I’m not being a baby I’m just arguing with myself on how to overcome this strange obstacle.... If anyone has ideas (don’t say quit; it’s not an option) let me know; cuz this lack their of is junk!
Dinner and a quest bar, suprisingly I liked this flavor. My calories are around 1300 today. Even after logging my night time snack which will be ricecakes with laughing cow cheese and a fiber one brownie.
With all of the craziness in my life, I have been all about letting go. I had the opportunity to take not one, but TWO aerial yoga classes this week. In both classes, they stressed the idea that "in order to fly, you have to let go." Letting go is usually mental and emotional for me, however with aerial yoga, it's very much physical. In order to do inversions - or poses upside down - you have to release the body. There is also the opportunity to BE ABLE to let go. Releasing your weight into the hammock, you have the ability to let go. It's a very powerful place to be. And it's amazing when we have the opportunity to just let go, but we rarely think it's a positive thing!
I have wanted to play with aerial yoga for a few years. If you're not familiar, it's playing with traditional and non-traditional poses using suspended fabric. You give some or all of your weight to the hammock to be able to find balance or release. There was a free trial on @ClassPass so I decided to take a few classes that I may never take. Due to a busy week, I didn't get as crazy as I wanted, but I definitely went out of my comfort zone. I don't normally do things I can't do, so as I approached aerial yoga, I needed to embrace being a beginner. That meant I needed to be okay taking a fundamentals class, with everyone knowing I was new, and also FAILING.
Needless to say it was a really great experience. I learned new things, lengthened my spine, laughed heartily and failed without embarrassment. Talk about letting go!
Without further ado, head over to my #blog to read the fruits of my reflection - my Weekly Lists. Link is in my profile above. Enjoy!
