I was taking a little time today to think about all the wonderful things that I have to be grateful for. All the things that I should be showing gratitude for.
What I realised is the last 12 months even the last nine months have been some of the most amazing times and have bought wonderful things my way. And then I started to think about how often I actually say thank you or how often I give someone a shout out and tell them just how great they are and how much I appreciate them.
I guess I realised that I don’t do enough of that and it’s something that I should spend more time on because telling people how much they mean to you and how much they have helped you is a great way to give a little back and also pay a little forwards.
So here are a few of the people that I am super grateful for right now Vicki Haig who first introduced me to Mums In Business Association, Leona Burton co-founder and CEO of MIBA, Estelle Keeber co-founder and CEO of MIBA. Without these three amazing woman I would not be where I am now. I would not be a number one best selling author, I would not be a MIBA award winner, I would not have seen my story printed in the papers or listened to my own words on the radio. So I am for ever grateful for the opportunities they have given me
I’m also grateful for my amazing and supportive partner Leigh, he supports me in everything that I do and in return I support him in everything that he does.
I’m sure there are lots of others that I should be thanking and I know that now I’m going to be focused more on showing my gratitude saying thank you that eventually they will all get the recognition they deserve.
Happy Thursday...and yet for the second week in a row, the car is in the shop 🤬 👊 😖...technically it hasn't left since Tuesday.
Was again anticipating picking up the vehicle tonight but it's not going to be ready till the morning. Bright side I have my mechanics car (guy is phenomenal, the time it's taking is not his fault) instead of paying for a rental.

Why is it when the holiday season comes around we throw all our progress to the wind for a few days of indulgence?😓 Bali… what more can I say... I could go on about how great it was but that’s not why I'm here!
WHY CAN’T WE ACCEPT COMPLIMENTS?
Why is it that every time someone compliments us on how we look we IMMEDIATELY shut it down or we will feel bad about saying thank you because we don’t wanna sound cocky. .
I’ve been noticing this a lot with myself lately. I have been putting in a lot of work at the gym and people have started to notice but yet every time someone says “you look so good” or “wow you look smaller” I shut it down and rag on myself. .
We all know that proud moment when you know you have been working hard towards a goal and someone recognizes you for it. It feels good so EMBRACE IT. .
Embrace yourself, your body, and your work. Everyone is on their own journey so help them embrace themselves. .
If you see someone in the gym that is killing their workout, tell them. If you see a girl with a nice booty, tell her. If you see someone making progress in the gym, tell them. It will motivate them to keep pushing towards their goals. .
