Our environments deeply shape us. We learn to define ourselves through the environments we spend the most time in.
The gym, the yoga mat, the running trail, the sport... all environments that shape our #movement and our #mindset
It’s neither “good” nor “bad” inherently, but being confined to a single environment can lead to rigid living.
Adaptability - physically, mentally, emotionally - is a quality that can be nurtured through our practice of movement.
To me, #primalmovement is a way to break out of my common environments and embrace the simplicity of #presence without needing to push towards some external goal.
It’s a practice in being. Stepping away from the roles that I play in my life to experience myself as a part of nature.
Check out my new primal movement flow on YouTube. The movements in conjunction with nature create the type of environment to #redefineyourself

New addition to your chaXi - this sweet little vase 🌿 Chabana is a generic term for the arrangement of flowers put together for display in a tea ceremony. In Japan, there is a certain stylistic category of Kado, the "Way of Flowers," specifically related to tea. This way developed out of Ikebana, which had its origin in early Buddhist flower offerings. One of the common traits we find in Japanese aesthetics is a celebration of the minute, the miniature. These vase lend a perfect accent to the tea ceremony. Within your life it is important to take time for yourself and to spend time looking inward at what exists. To become both aware and engaged with who you are and what you can become. Take time today, and every day, to do some yoga, journal or meditation.

Life truly starts when you take FULL accountability for all of it!
When you are no longer a victim of your circumstances but see the role you played in it, no matter how unfair or harsh it seemed at the time or in the present, you can be empowered, and only then can you truly be the master of your destiny.
If you’re a procrastinator and can’t get moving, then take on being accountable for others and as long as your word means something to you, you will be able to be a stand for everyone else and create workability in your life!
Let’s say you feel someone has wronged you, if you can drop that and take full responsibility for how they reacted, then you can start to truly be free.
Blame is like swallowing poison and hoping someone else will die. Let it go!! It’s killing you, guilt too. My mother’s best advice was always “forgive yourself and move on” I’m now passing it on to you (this doesn’t give you a hall pass to not be a good person and act responsibly) but it is an essential request for your evolution and full self expression

Healing and tapping into our inner self doesn’t have to be so complicated. Sometimes it can be as simple as grabbing a crystal and your favorite oil and stepping outside into nature.
I’m still learning about the power of crystals but this Fluorite feels perfectly grounding and it pairs great with such a grounding oil like balance🙏🏼. Color similarities a coincidence?... Nah...
Fluorite is a highly protective and stabilizing stone and can be super useful for grounding and harmonizing spiritual energy. Fluorite can also clear the aura of stagnant and negative energies which I seem to be dealing with due to my last few therapy sessions.
Something I just learned about Flourite was that it heightens mental abilities and assists in rapid organization and processing of information. So I kept it on my lap throughout the morning while I knocked out some planning for my next bizzzznezzzz venture🙌🏼
My gateway oil, balance has always been so useful in every aspect of my life and it’s with me pretty much every day.
Friends: We're often asked to have a vision for our work, but what is our vision for ourselves? Connect with me in a workshop that will help you explore your unique story by creating a vision board.⠀
I'm grateful to be presenting this during @untitledtown!⠀
Will I see you there?

Day 1 - Meditation for the SOUL BODY
The video we share today is a Laya Yoga chant of 11 minutes that brings your Soul and Destiny present. It allows your activity to serve your Souls purpose instead of being distracted and loose track of real your priorities. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This practice fixes your attention and energy on your essence and higher consciousness suspending you above your attachments and reactive awareness. It opens you to the experience of your true idendity, your soul.
Make time to do this meditation today, the video will changed tomorrow as we will zoom into another body. The link to this free video is in our BIO (Free Ten Bodies videos)
Stay tuned as we share many quotes, teachings and inspiration connected to one of the bodies in the coming days as a preparation for the upcoming 40 Day Sadhana 'Awaken your Destiny' starting on the 5th of May. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Let this inspire and uplift you on your way!

Do you check your tongue every morning? If so what do you notice and what awareness does it bring? This is a practice I started about 4 years ago now, and it is habit and part of my routine. If you have AMA or toxins in your mouth every morning it is very important to scrap them off so you are not swallowing them and causing more toxins and AMA in the body. And with a metal, not plastic scraper, things will stay on plastic and grow and accumulate.
And no it doesn’t take up a lot of time, my morning routines give me time, they connect, ground and centre me for my day and provide me with so much more awareness that improves my health and digestion. I use to be so irregular and unbalanced and have poor digestion and lots of allergies, most of this has faded away and I know a lot of it has to do with my daily habits, daily thoughts and practices and my diet. We all contain an innate wisdom within to heal ourselves. We just get distracted by life, by commercials, by the internet, by friends and family, by magazines, by our ego and negative thought patterns of not being enough or not having enough. We think if I look a certain way, wear a certain outfit, act a certain way, buy a new item, follow what worked for someone else, if I control so many things in my life I will force a change, and I will finally be happy and be enough.
You are enough and you have enough knowledge, will power, love, compassion, esteem, courage, we have whatever it is you are seeking you already have it somewhere within. Look deep inside and you will find everything you ever hoped for, and this opening to your true nature, your true self will set you free to move and flow with the rhythms of nature and life. Love and light. How would your life be different if you didn’t care what other’s thought of you? Would you be doing different things, hanging out with different people, spending your day in another way?Would you be speaking different words?
Focusing on what makes me happy, practicing yoga and meditation, and letting go of what the rest of the world thinks and believes has been the best way for me to feel more at peace. And remember, whatever anyone else thinks or says about you is a reflection of themselves and has nothing to do with you. 💜
Thank you to everyone who made it out to my recital last night! This was the culmination of my 3 years at McGill and I’m at a loss for words. I can’t believe how quickly the undergrad flew by but I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have met so many amazing people during my time there. It’s been a wild ride, on to the next one! (If you missed it, the full video is up on my Facebook..link in my bio)
