Bonjour! Je suis a Cotignac. >> Full video on Facebook.com/FionaLQuinn (this one goes on a bit 🙈)<< Watching how the culture and infrastructure around cycling has changed between Spain and France, as well as the landscape, is one of the benefits of going slowly. You really get to see a country from another perspective.
On the other hand, it’s really slow! 😂🙈 It’s been wonderful to have a day off with Jeany and Stephen who run @mirabeauwine - my legs definitely needed a rest! They make the best Rose I’ve ever had and have been amazing in looking after me. The rest has given me a renewed burst of energy for the short leg ahead.
Now I’m heading to Nice and, as all good plans do, this one is changing again. I’ve been offered a job to start next week, which means I’m having to put this adventure on pause.
Having reached roughly half way, it’ll be great to come back and explore the central and eastern section of @ecfeurovelo Route 8 another time.
Have a great week!
Last night the Kyle's Bikes Wednesday Night Ride went up the High Trestle Trail and back. Pretty big crowd! It was so nice to have sun and warm weather. We hurried back so we could make it to Steve Cannon's presentation at Firetrucker Brewery.
