I’ve been super lazy/busy this month. I’m a mom of a 3 year old and work full time hours. (Sometimes more) I’m an extrovert so I’m also always on the go. This month I’ve been making excuses and not been making time for exercise. Today was Pound class at the gym... I then decided to “hustle” (like my shirt said) and do C25K. Even being off a few weeks I was able to pick back up where I left off! I’m running for 5 min stretches which is huge for me. Today I did a mile in 9mins and 54 seconds! I think it is a PR or close to my PR! The hardest part of weight loss isn’t losing it.. it’s keeping a healthy mind and maintaining your weight loss. I’m a fighter. I’ve been through a lot. I have seriously struggled hard since the fall but this is my story. Im not letting my trauma/anxiety/hurt/fear write my story any longer... I’m the author. I’m not giving up! 💪🏼🔥🏃🏻♀️💦💚⚡️ #myweightlossjourney#hustle#goals#hardwork#poundfitness#power#rockoutworkout#C25K#motivation#profilebysanford#profileyourself#profileproud#lowcarb#lowcalorie#nomoreexcuses#loveyourself
Literally had every reason not to run and I did not feel like running at all. Forgot my medicine this morning, had very bad anxiety, took a nap after work and woke up groggy, ate a heavy dinner before my run. I told myself to still do it, but I did not think it will go well. Turns out, it was the easiest run for me out of my last 4 runs!!! Maybe I give it credit to my new running shoes? Not sure. Don’t care. Feel proud of myself for pushing and doing something that I thought would be impossible today. #newrunner#beginnerrunner#c25k#c25ktraining
Longest run I’ve had in a while, and the best! I just love running in the humidity... I don’t know why. 🤷🏻♀️ And it ended with just the softest sprinkle of rain. 👌 ...and I just noticed the gnats stuck to my sweaty forehead. And chest. 😂🤦🏻♀️🦟 Swipe for the fluffiest part of my run. #c25k#week8day1#running#fitfam#runwithyourmouthclosed

When are you more likely to skip a workout?
🧡 if you have no one to workout with because no will care or know if you don’t do it
💚 you have no one to workout with, but you are on a team, with others who will be completing the same workout, are expecting you to do it.
I would assume most of you would answer 🧡 because nobody would know if you skipped right? Accountability is the key to success, it really works! You wouldn’t want to be the only one missing that days workout!
I say this because I know from experience and trying to do it on my own so many times and always failing and falling back into old patterns. So if you are like me, struggling to meet your own personal goals, think about this: I have a new challenge group starting June 3rd of a small group of people who will be either working out, eating right, or both! 🥗🏋️♀️
Come join us, there are a few spots left!! 🤸🏼♂️🤸🏼♂️
Bootcamp Wednesday, strength training.
Circuits and running, lots of weights working back muscles.
Definitely challenged this session. 'This is the LAST time you'll be doing this exercise.....until we move on to something else.' 😂
Hello progress! 13:17/mi! Considering I started off in the 16 min/mi zone, I'm pretty happy! Plus, it's about to storm here and I wanted to get home before it rained 😂
I'm finding that while I'm running, I struggle just as much mentally as well as physically. I have a lot of self-doubt, anxiety, and worry about this journey. I just have to remember that I'm not only doing this for myself, but for my kiddos. I want to be around to bug them for a long time.
Quick question - when you first started running, how long did it take before you felt like you knew what you were doing?? 🤣
Wk5 day1 completed :) After a long day of walking and training dogs, plus i slept in for a half hour, which totally threw me right off schedule (the dogs surely noticed and had no mercy lol, so no coffee first). I really debated putting this run off til tomorrow, i almost did it too but then my goals got the best of me and i knew it was now or never, and i mean im imade it to week five!!!!!! So i got off the patio and got it done. And i feel tired........and PROUD that i followed through. #goals#bandontherun#botr#c25k#positivevibes#innerpeace#progress#run#training#beproud#believeinyourself
Reason #1 ,236,679 why I’m excited to NOT work summer school... I can run in the morning 😂👟

W1d3 - I wondered when the old Irish complexion was going to make an appearance. Today felt a bit sluggish. I was smart to rest my knees and my ankles after the NYC trip. However I’m going on another vacation trip this weekend and I’m pondering repeating this day a few times because I can’t promise my next activity til next Tuesday (other than I get tons of steps in on vacation). I also think I want to strengthen those areas on off days ⏰ 00:29:56

We did our first walk/jog combo! I’m “officially” starting the C25K training Monday (along with a 4 day a week weight lifting program) but I was excited to see how I’d do so we did a trial run today. #nopunintended
I didn’t pay close enough attention to the plan so instead of jog 60sec walk 90sec I did 60/60 🤷🏻♀️ oh well! I didn’t collapse 😂
Pushing the kids wasn’t the easiest but maybe it’ll make me feel like I’m flying on the actual race day haha. Caleb loved the “fast” parts. It was a great motivator hearing , “This is so fun mommy! The wind feels good!” Any bets on how sore I’ll be tomorrow?! 🙃
It may be red and blotchy but this is the face of a woman who is pretty proud of herself today. I completed the couch to 5K programme and can now run for 30mins without stopping. Not a big achievement for some but when I started it the blocks of 3mins running were a bit of a challenge! I’d totally recommend it for anyone who wants to get into/back into running. Very easy to follow and I’m proof it’s achievable! 🏃🏼♀️ 🏆🥇. #c25k#c25kgraduate#runner#blogger#militaryspouse#militarymove#militaryfamily

No treadmill for a week so starting back on it a bit easy before starting #c25k back up again...
[080/100] Since I never officially finished the #couch25k program, I restarted it today at the gym. My speeds today were 3.3 walking & 5.2 running. When I first started, I was at 3.0 walking & 4.0 running. That kind of progress is insane to me!!! Anyways while I was able to finish my 5K, I still have very little speed and I would still consider my stamina low. I’m hoping that doing the course again while I’m a little stronger will help strengthen me. There’s a part of me that still isn’t quite done learning how to run. #100workouts2019#workout#planetfitness#treadmill#C25K#week1day1#beginnerrunner#weightloss#weightlossjourney
So tonight I decided to have a wee weigh day treat. I'm not into the whole 'cheat day' or 'cheat meal' ethos... purely because I need to stay 100% on track or I have that 'fuck it, I've already been shit today, so I may aswell carry on' mentality. However, today I thought, well one packet of malteasers isn't going to gain me any weight next week, however now I'm feeling the HUGE guilt and I've decided to add them into tomorrow's points... why do I feel so guilty about this one treat! One flippin treat a week! I can't do it!

Love these summer evenings, exploring parts of #Pembrokeshjre I’d usually only drive through. .
Been beating myself up a bit lately thinking that I’ll never be able to do the Cardiff Half 😭. Today I ran for 28 minutes without stopping. .
28 minutes? 😂 Must seem like a piece of piss to most people. Two months ago I couldn’t run for more than 2 minutes without feeling sick - genuinely. I’m smashing #C25K and generally improving my fitness. On my rest days I cycle. I have genuinely done more serious exercise in the last five weeks than I’ve done in two years 🐷 . .
I also sing in a Male Voice Choir, work 50 hours a week and run my own business. This isn’t a bragging post, this is a post to say that if I can get off my fat arse and do it, anybody can! Every time I think that I can’t be bothered, I think of the people who have already spent their hard earned cash sponsoring me for @Macmillan .
